For a lot of guys they’ll be a lot less work and bother than most women...
If God would have created a sex bot instead of Eve, Adam may have avoided the Fall.
You don’t buy the sex bot to have sex with. You buy the sex bot because you can turn it off after you have sex with it.
The technology is getting better.
Women are getting less attractive—less fit and more negative “attitude”
Women are free to choose the men they want without societal constraints—which means most men are not even on their radar.
Children are very expensive and getting more expensive—only one sure way men can be certain they don’t produce any—stay away from live women.
It is rather obvious where this is going....
You could not be more incorrect.
Eve was deceived. Adam sinned knowing he was sinning - and still did it.
Question: why? He put Eve before God. So you cannot blame the fall on Eve. It’s all on Adam’s shoulders.
And you and I are Adam.
Only we have a Savior & Redeemer who shed His blood for us so we can be forgiven, cleansed, changed, made white as snow to walk daily with a holy and righteous God.
Blessed be His name! All blessings and glory and honor be to the Lord Jesus!
I'm reminded of that silly Jim Carrey movie of the 1990s "The Mask."
The Mask simply magnified the wearer's inherent tendencies to an absurd degree, to the point they could force their will upon others (usually through brute strength). The dog wearing the mask was still a dog - he just ran faster, bit harder, etc...
That's what AI will do to humans.
That's the problem with categorically condemning Transhumanism.
I have to believe that God would approve of all of the above, and probably inspired individuals to bring us many of those enhancements.
Now if you get into genetic modification, even then you will have a divide. Gene therapy to correct a genetic defect, vs gene therapy to engineer a stronger, smarter human.
Same things with chip implants. We have non-intrusive brain wave detectors that can help disabled people communicate. Think Steven Hawkings.
But Neuralink goes a step further, not only promising to help the disabled, but potentially enhancing man.
I don't know where to draw the line, but clearly all advancements are not evil. So which ones are and which ones are not? And how to tell the difference before the evil manifests?
Oh and only having read the first and last paragraphs. Maybe the author hates himself, but I don't hate me or the author. And maybe people struggle more due to technology both with feelings of inferiority and keeping up with the Jones on social media. But it's the same human emotions since the start of time. No matter if your in a dirt poor village, or the King's court, or the techno wonderland of the 21st century.
Maybe I'll ask ChatGPT to read and comment on the article and try not to barf.
Very good article which fundamentally says that man/humans have chosen to listen to the serpent in the Garden of Eden. Throughout time man/humans have been deceived into rebelling against God. The Serpent tells us, “We can be like gods.” And alternately tells us that God is withholding from us and is trying to spoil our enjoyment with all these restrictive rules.
In all, as in this article, it is a lie straight from Satan himself.
You have missed the critical underlying point of what the author is saying.
They employee a few kids just out of high school.
Each one acts/talks almost...robotic
(to be fair, so too a few of their 'boomer employees, but that's probably attributed more to age than...programming)
Individuality is being replaced with collectivism, all creativity will come with conformity.
Cue the Outer Limits intro....we're there, dude.
Does two wrongs make a right?
That is, how many of these “alienated” people are fully vaxxed?
People who are young, healthy, and have a good attitude about faith, marriage and children, are a tragedy when they die young.
But what about those who cannot have a normal relationship with the other gender, abuse their sexuality a lot, either reject having children or see them as an obstacle to their, the parents, enjoyment of life, and live more for materialism, gluttony and alcohol and drug abuse?
Are they as much of a tragedy when they die young?
In sum, does the latter group contribute more than the former?
Sounds like a waste of money. I can already turn women off just by saying hello to them or showing my neanderthal face.
I probably should have read the rest, but the first paragraph was horrible, so I skipped to the end.
What is the critical underlying point?
Interface Cherry 2000 with ChatGPT and give her a seductive sexy voice. I think you have a winner.
Isn't it the mind, not the tool, that's wrong here?
Matthew 5:27-32
27 “You have heard that it was said [a]to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to [b]sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to [c]sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
Also, not being a prude, either. I sin like above just about every day.
Welcome to the social media world.
Women can get all the attention they desire from a worldwide audience online and men can get the sexual gratification they want online with porn.
It’s okay, it was a TL:DR type of article. I guess the author was trying to communicate not that technology, or medical technology is bad, but specifically used or deployed in such a manner so as to purposefully alter our intrinsic humanity and to deny that we are created by God, or that there even is a God is what the author was essentially positing.
Medical and scientific progress is great, but as one example, to butcher children in the vain and hubris attempt to change the unchangeable gender is not only absurd, but it directly denies one’s humanity and the God who created us.
