It’s okay, it was a TL:DR type of article. I guess the author was trying to communicate not that technology, or medical technology is bad, but specifically used or deployed in such a manner so as to purposefully alter our intrinsic humanity and to deny that we are created by God, or that there even is a God is what the author was essentially positing.
Medical and scientific progress is great, but as one example, to butcher children in the vain and hubris attempt to change the unchangeable gender is not only absurd, but it directly denies one’s humanity and the God who created us.

Yeah, that we might be able to improve human physiology, doesn’t disprove God. God made us lower than the angels. He made us the way He wanted. Not with the eyesight of an eagle, or as fast as a cheetah, but the combination of attributes that He wanted. And it was sufficient to dominate the planet.
