“ I still have my Glenfield Marlin Model 20”
I’ve got one that was a garage sale find. Ugly and loose in the stock. Fixed her up and they think shoots 18 times slicks as can be. I’ve had people say “but that’s only a .22!”
I ask them how many times would they like to be shot with it?
Fun truck, barn, tractor gun for whatever needs taken care of. I’d buy another one when I run across one!😉

There are some .22 loads, which out of a rifle, have more energy than a some .32 acp loads out of a pistol.

CCI Velocitor and Aguila Interceptor exist with about 174 foot pounds of energy. Winchester is coming out with a 42 grain load at 1320 fps, with a deep hollowpoint for max expansion, at 165 foot pounds. An ordinary .32 acp has about 123 to 177 foot pounds of energy.
