President Trump is set to triumph yet again in a 2024 presidential primary race, with a new Morning Consult poll finding that the 45th president is easily dominating a field of potential hopefuls.
Per their findings, Trump leads the field with a whopping 48 percent of support, while DeSantis trails with 31 percent among Republican primary voters.
As reported by RSBN, Trump’s reemergence as the solid lead in the potential primary race comes after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) appeared to be gaining momentum following the November midterm elections.
However, Trump has maintained his position as the top choice for the nomination in the eyes of the American people.
According to the Morning Consult Poll, other potential political rivals heading into the primary did not manage to net more than single-digit support:
- Former Vice President Mike Pence: 8 percent
- Former Sen. Liz Cheney: 3 percent
- Sen. Ted Cruz, R- Texas: 2 percent
- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas: 1 percent
- Gov. Kristi Noem, R-S.D.: 1 percent
- Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley: 2 percent
- Former CIA Director Mike Pompeo: 1 percent
- Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C.: 1 percent
- Gov. Glenn Youngkin, R-Va.: 0 percent
Via RSBN, President Trump is gearing up to hit the campaign trail with enthusiasm in 2023, teasing supporters in a new statement this week that he would be holding “MANY GIANT RALLIES and other events coming up soon.” He added, “We will save our Country from DOOM and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Interestingly, Morning Consult’s survey found that Trump is holding onto a “substantial average with the youngest part of the GOP’s potential electorate.” For example, 61 percent of Republican primary voters under 45 said they would support the president in his bid to reclaim the White House in 2024.
For those voters surveyed, they indicated that their second choice for the Republican Party’s nomination in 2024 was Gov. DeSantis.

I’m as big a Trump supporter as anybody but I’m already sick of all these polls and we are still nearly two years away from the 2024 election.

Exactly, I am not even going to think about it until 2024. A lot can happen between now and then, so it’s pointless.

“they” will never allow PDJT in to the WH again. No matter what it takes. He could have the 82 million votes and they would prestidigitate 100 million. Even if there are only 150 million registered voters.

A man whose record as prez is mail in ballots, lockdowns, masking, travel restrictions, endless covid checks to stay home, big pharma billion, bump-stock bans and unvented Syrians.
Yes… more of that. Because he single handedly gave dems perpetual power… even if that dem has republican after his name.
On FR for the most of Obama’s reign it was .. his record, record, record. Now when a Republican prez erased freedoms that are never returning… records don’t matter.
The dems will be voting or his record… they love his vax too.

Here is just a small taste of what you chose not to post about what the GOAT, President Trump, accomplished on the Economy and Jobs:
Economy & Jobs
Before the Coronavirus spread from China across the globe, President Trump helped America build its strongest economy in history. Median household incomes rose to their highest level ever in 2019, while the poverty rate hit an all-time low. Under the Trump Administration, more Americans were employed than ever before—160 million—and the unemployment rate fell to a 50-year low. The unemployment rates for African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, and Americans without a high-school diploma all hit record lows, while the Trump “Blue-Collar Boom” saw wages grow faster for workers than for managers or supervisors.
After COVID-19 forced a temporary economic shutdown, President Trump signed the largest relief package in American history to protect workers and families from economic devastation. Under President Trump’s leadership, the American economy surged back to life within months, seeing record growth and job gains.

I don’t think there is a 1 in 20 chance of Trump winning a general election. Those are decided in battleground states and he’s toxic in most of those.
Meanwhile, only Trump has announced a run and we don’t even know if he’ll be alive in 2 years! He’s lost me as a primary voter (along with every one I know). He or any other front runner could step in dog poop big time, as could any democrat. We don’t know what the economy will be doing or if we’ll be in a war. Heck, we could be attacked by China next year!
Trump is welcome to make his case. I don’t think he’ll win the primary in Arizona. But he can try. I’d hold my nose and vote for him in the general election if he is the nominee but I’d expect a big loss. But two years out? We don’t know SQUAT!
