Well, heck, why didn’t they say so? If all those physical req’s were un-necessarily tight they could have loosened them all back in Wilbur’s day. Wider EKG range —sure. Maybe 20/40 sight is all we need. Blood pressure 900 over 600-—sure. Too fat to fit in the seat-—no problem. Not getting on a plane with a clotshotted pilot. But drunk is OK-—if he can fly so can I. And don’t worry about the guy with heebie jeebies. That just makes for a fun ride. yup.

"...nursing homes have lost up to 33% of their residents in 12 months [after vaccine] where before [vaccine] they were losing only 1 or 2% a year."That implies people entering nursing homes (age 65?) had a pre-vaccine life expectancy of 50 to 100 years upon entering the home. Then people in nursing homes suddenly had a life expectancy of 3 years post-vax.
Am I missing something? If I'm right, then those are serious (and simplistic) errors in the article.
Let me know when the FAA requires additional screening for pilots that have received the mRNA vaccine.
Have you heard anything about this?
All according to plan.
It gives them cover for eliminating human pilots and replacing them with AI autopilots.
Human beings are obsolete, don’t you know?
Meanwhile, get a load of this from NYS...
Army Flight Surgeon, speaking for herself, said on Tucker Carlson that Air Force pilots have EKGs every year, but commercial pilots only have them at age 35, age 40, then yearly after that. she could not understand why, with covid and covid vaxes causing heart damage, FAA should quietly change the parameters in October last year.
then...add the following to our concerns:
21 Nov 2022: Fortune: Airlines want you to get comfortable with flying without a co-pilot. Pilots—and fliers—are not convinced
BY ANGUS WHITLEY AND BLOOMBERG
Airlines and regulators are pushing to have just one pilot in the cockpit of passenger jets instead of two. It would lower costs and ease pressure from crew shortages, but placing such responsibility on a single person at the controls is unsettling for some.
Over 40 countries including Germany, the UK and New Zealand have asked the United Nations body that sets aviation standards to help make single-pilot flights a safe reality. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency has also been working with planemakers to determine how solo flights would operate and preparing rules to oversee them. EASA said such services could start in 2027.
The plan doesn’t sit well with pilots. It’s a hard sell for passengers, too...

I guess I should drive the next time I travel.
I have biannual EKG’s and yearly echoes. No change in my readings. I was vaccinated twice and had last booster in 2001.
This is why I think Kirsch's comments need to be considered carefully and why he's going for shock headlines.
Kirsch wrote:
"The FAA has very quietly (emphasis added) tacitly admitted that the EKGs of pilots are no longer normal.
and:
"...the FAA quietly widened (emphasis added)... "
"On October 24, 2022, the FAA quietly, without any announcement at all (emphasis added)..."
and"
"And why did they do that quietly without notifying the public (emphasis added) or the mainstream media?"
and:
"They were quiet about it (emphasis added)"
and:
"...and the FAA quietly changed (emphasis added) their EKG guidance..."
Except it was not quiet.
It was posted to a public web-site. Where people check those things. Including flight surgeons and other people involved with aircrew health.
Update Schedule for the Guide for Aviation Medical Examiners
It LISTS the date and time that the updates will be made.
and the list of changes are also posted - see AME Guide Archives Kirsch is trying to claim quietly to hawk his claims. That's acting in bad faith. Which he is apparently good at.
