Good summary.
I have waited a long time to see Hitler on ice.
I have felt mel’s Humor to be sophomoric and meh.
Lowest hanging fruit of bathroom humor and sex jokes without much creativity
Seriously, I think they recognized how bad the movie was.
Spaceballs in particular had a lot of creativity.
The Jewish jokes were off the charts funny imho but may have been missed by folks not exposed to Jewish culture.
The warning and other labels throughout the spacecraft were wonderful—and of course there was the “ludicrous speed” indicator.
Mel Brooks at his best ridiculed “safety” culture and the nanny state.
He was the master of the obvious, from big helmet to the highest forms of puns.
She is pretty but has those vacant empty eyes. So sad her whole identity is wrapped up in how she looks in a bikini.
Seinfeld routinely made fun of Jewish culture.
Yep. That’s a non-starter.
Mel’s batting average is about 500. Half his movies stink. The other half are hysterically funny, but that doesn’t help the rest in the least.
HOTW Part 1 was a stinker so I’ll wait to hear from competent reviewers before I even consider wasting time on this one.

"History of the World, Part I" was one of his finest films and I can't believe it took nearly a half century for the sequel.

It -- to me -- was Brooks' worse film. Too disjointed and it seemed to be just an incoherent collection of jabs and skits. This new one looks to be that as well.
It did leave behind a nice collection of memes, though...

The Hebrew word for dial in that title is a phone dial, ergo of 10. The title plays off of Chag Purim, because destiny: "Pur, that is, the lot (hagoral)"
