I’m sure it was found before then, and they’ve just been thinking of the best way to get it out.
And what is this with Biden’s lawyers being able to crawl through all these classified documents? And nobody thinks there was anything illegal about that?
Whoever found it should have reported it right away.
I think probably they did…I saw today that Biden was blaming the National Archives for “losing” his documents.
Probably what happened is that the National Archives - a very leftwing group, btw, like anything full of librarians and academics - was going through its records to look for something on Trump and found that there were many missing Biden VP docs.
After that, especially after having been so hysterical about Trump’s (perfectly legitimate) document possession, they probably got a little concerned, sat on it as long as possible, contacted Biden’s lawyers…and here we are.
The DoJ is going to start from now and go backwards, beginning with the premise that it was all "inadvertent" and then create the evidence that is needed to reach that conclusion.
The question is who will attain their end goal first?
