There’s an element among the Left that is very anti-Christian, and they would be happy to get rid of Christianity in this country if they could. They blame Christianity for homophobia, for what they call the “patriarchic structure of society”, for trying to ban abortion, and for anything else they can think of. They are just like the old commies who went after religion in the countries where they came to power.
