As expected, SCOTUS did nothing. The unspoken option becomes more inevitable.

Bummer but denying the petition was the most likely outcome.

An article I think on ‘uncoverDC’ did a pretty good job explaining why this would happen.

Another Kracken that evaporates when reality is encountered.

Status Quo SCOTUS.

Yes, no surprise.

The court acted as the Supreme Court is supposed to act.

Many on this forum predicted exactly this result, myself included.

To expect the Supreme Court to invalidate 220 years of precedent and the Constitution itself, was much, much too much of a bridge too far.

SCOTUS can’t take a case they’d need to recuse themselves from.

Can’t believe people really thought the Supreme Court was going to touch this with a ten foot pole.

Isn’t this whole mess, potentially, cleared up with the case the NC legislature has right now?

If the NC legislature prevails then every law/rule/procedure with regards to voting, as written about in the Constitution, comes from the legislature and cannot be overturned or modified by any court. No rule changes from a Secretary of State. Nothing.

Then it’s up to your legislature. All of who could have done something about covid-rules voting, but chose not to. And in most cases, like Georgia, codified all those disastrous rules into law, rather than toss them.

Yep.

Soap box gone. Jury box gone. Ballot box gone.

Would be nice if I were wrong.

The last “box” is on deck and it’s the 9th inning.

It should be obvious to all by now that there will be no justice surrounding the 2020 election. Ask the gulag prisoners about their justice, ask the widower and mother of Ashli Babbit. Ask those who’s homes have been raided in the middle of the night. Silent courts as the bill of rights is destroyed, silent Dems and Republicans too.

Maybe if Trump would have elected a few more like Scalia and less like Roberts.

Oh that’s right it’s all Mitch’s fault because he gave him a list.

If anyone expects the courts, including the Supreme Court, to actually hear and address voter fraud they would be wrong. The courts don’t have the backbone to actually and honestly address all the corruption.
