This is the key, and it's a travesty that Ronna McDaniel and the GOP did not come prepared in 2022. There's no putting this toothpaste back in the tube - vote-by-mail and legalized ballot harvesting are the reality and the GOP must learn to play this game.

The GOP cannot play this game. The Dems make ballot harvesting work because they get a pass on illegal activity, where Republicans would see the inside of prison for doing the exact same thing.

Every time someone says we should emulate the Democrats, I cannot help but wonder just how they think this can be done. It's like people suggesting such a thing are simply not right in the head.

We *CANNOT* do what they do. Therefore, so long as we tolerate mail in ballot corruption and tolerate ballot harvesting corruption, we will simply lose.

How do you suggest we "overcome" illegal activity? By engaging in it ourselves?

We would get burned immediately. People suggesting we "overcome" do not seem to have thought through the problem very well.

There are a number of states where collection of mail-in ballots prior to election day is legal. This is not illegal activity in those states anymore, and it's not likely to ever be made illegal again.

Here's how it can be done - get Republican volunteers out to collect mail-in ballots prior to Election Day, the same way the Democrats do. Are Republicans going to collect the same number of votes? No, not initially (though the low-income black and Hispanic communities where ballot harvesting takes place are increasingly voting Republican), but right now the number of pre-election ballot collection votes Republicans get is zero. Even the slightest dent in the advantage Democrats get through ballot harvesting can swing many razor-close margins.

The alternative is to sit around whining impotently, which is what the GOP has been doing since November 2020. It's time to learn and adapt.

I see here by your statement that you did not grasp what I meant. This also tells me you haven't read up on this issue as much as I have.

The manner in which the Democrats engage in their ballot harvesting is illegal. They get votes from fake made up people, senile people in nursing homes, and illegal voters such as felons, etc.

We cannot copy this methodology.

More evidence that you did not understand what I meant.

All the legal type "ballot harvesting" we could do, would never be able to overcome the illegal type of harvesting they do.

"Ballot harvesting" is on the face of it, corrupt, and nonredeemable. It breaks chain of custody and it can always be subject to abuse, such as an employer or a Union official demanding to see the employees ballot to make sure it is filled out properly.

The alternative is to sit around whining impotently, which is what the GOP has been doing since November 2020. It's time to learn and adapt.

Yes it is. It's time to learn how corrupt Democrat "ballot harvesting" really works, and it's time to stop entertaining silly ideas that you are going to beat it without going full bore corrupt.

Fine, no one is suggesting that we do. Let's just do what's legal - even that should swing many races, which the Democrats won by razor-thin margins despite their ballot harvesting. As it is, the Republicans are doing nothing besides waiting for Election Day to wipe out huge mail-in ballot advantages for Democrats.

First do something instead of absolutely nothing, and then let's see if the doomsaying is really needed.

FWIW, Wisconsin DID rule that Ballot Drop Boxes ARE illegal in our state. They always WERE, but they put some teeth into the law - finally!

So, that’s one area of cheating that has been ended. Oh, I’m not naive. They’ll find others to use until they get caught at it.

‘2000 Mules’ was VERY thorough in their researching and filming of Madistan and Milwaukeestan and the cheating that was documented.

They will just cheat harder. Register more fake people and then cast their votes with their fake people.

"Ballot harvesting" is fundamentally wrong because it breaks chain of custody, and it breaks the Australian ballot methodology. Unions can coerce their membership to vote however the Union dictates.

Polling places were created to protect secret ballots and to prevent voter intimidation. Without them, you cannot stop it, nor can you stop fake voters or people voting in other people's names.

The entire idea of "ballot harvesting" is corrupt.
