Pretty diabolical and ubiquitous, albeit in a hidden kind of way. Not something the MSM reports on routinely by any measure.
My high school in the mid 70’s was a teachers / students / cops, bang-fest. Nothing new.
“Fox reported, “An OIG investigation concluded one teacher groomed and sexually assaulted a 17-year-old student three times. That teacher was charged with multiple counts of sexual assault. After a November 2022 trial, the teacher was acquitted on all counts, the report said, despite evidence provided by the student and social media records.”
____
It’s pretty scary that there could be evidence on social media that supports the charges, but a jury still acquitted the defendant. Of course, I wasn’t on the jury and there may have been evidence showing otherwise that this news report doesn’t mention, but my goodness, look at the number of documented cases of abuse!
Is this one of those “new normal” things we have to get used to? This type of thing really used to be rare and the offender was immediately fired, arrested, and any teaching certificate immediately suspended. Now, it is something your read about daily in the headlines.
In my day in HS (Class of 19 and 75) I dated a woman who I later dated at college. She revealed to me while we were at the University, that she had had an affair with a HS instructor at our school. It took me a while to recognize who she was talking about, because he taught subject matter I never took, and I barely knew of this fellow. He was married and 43 years old at the time we were seniors in HS. She did not turn 18 until after HS graduation. The state we were in had age of consent at 18 at that time, so he committed statutory rape at least once (I never asked...)
The woman I am writing about is one of the most intelligent people I have ever met, she is a great friend, an exceptionally capable person, parent of two adults - who are exceptionally bright and creative people themselves.
If the instructor from our HS is still alive, he would be...91, so I will bet he’s approximately dead.
I had no idea this was going on while I was in HS, I’d like to assume it was exceptionally rare back then.

I hear a lot of this happening. I understand the sex temptation in some cases, but I cannot understand why they insist on grooming them. Combing their hair first and checking manicures? very odd.
But we’ve got to verify it legally to see if (s)he is morally, ethically, spiritually, physically, positively, absolutely, undeniably and reliably dead.
For my part, affairs with HS girls - and I guess boys, too, these days - are sort of different. At least they know the score, children get educated so quickly now. It’s all over online, TV & movies, too.
I’m referring to children...a pre-HS teen or younger.
Just trying to get more kids into the education system.
On the brighter side, some enterprising students might have gotten an introduction into capitalism by starting their own “extremely personal services” enterprises.
Written poorly.
It’s like politics.
They’ve realized the fox can guard the henhouse.
Public schools in Chicago. Not our problem.
When I moved to Chicago in 1964 one of the first things I learned, but did not understand was the fascination of adult professionals with sex with high schoolers.... and the acceptance by the more intelligent high school students of this reality.
In 1964 there was a phrase “give a f..k for Chuck”. Us Goldwater fans did not like Chuck. But his hot teenage daughters wereteen rumored to do exactly that. And teen girls and guys volunteering out of the local R office saw it as part of real world issues.
Some rejected. Some accepted. The rejectors seemed concentrated in the boys Catholic HS where certain Brothers were excessively friendly.
My brother, a former Walmart manager, said I would spend all of my money and still probably would not win since the school systems have an endless supply of taxpayer money.
Figures that the one taking a student to a “Broadway play” is a faggot ...
"Bueller"
Historically this happens—Teachers fall in love with students—in the past it was no big deal—they got married and moved to another state, raised a family and fit in. My Grandmother was 15 when she was married and had her first child, My sister was 16 when she got married—THESE ARE NOT CHILDREN.
Fathers should be beating the school doors to fix the problem.
OH WAIT it’s Chicago
