Jacob Sanchez made an everlasting impact on his students and loved ones.
SAN ANTONIO – His playful, easygoing personality made him an easy pick to be a student’s favorite coach.
But 35-year-old Jacob Sanchez was also an inspiration, a leader and an innovator that made him so likable to those he worked with at Devine Middle School.
On Thursday, Sanchez collapsed at the start of class and staff members conducted CPR.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office reports he died of a heart attack. On Friday, the Devine community gathered for a vigil before the start of school and school counselors were available to help students cope.
Principal Kandi Darnell was with him just minutes before he collapsed.
“He seemed fine and everything seemed fine,” she said.
Darnell has known Sanchez since he was a student himself and said he really shined as a teacher.
“He was a kid’s teacher, I’ll put it that way. He took time out to connect with the kids,” she said.
Sanchez’s wife Rebecca Powe issued this statement: “My honey was the light of our lives. He kept our family on our toes, constantly going, and always laughing. We shared a beautiful life together He loved us with his whole heart and loved his life. He was dedicated to the community of Devine and the kids were his motivation every day.”

35 is the new 85
Exactly.
Yes, people die. But the number of young, seemingly healhty people are dying because of the same symptoms. It is unusual. And the human mind is designed to notice patterns. See you not any pattern in the preponderance of such deaths?
Wow!
“Why is this becoming a site posting obscure distant deaths of people we don’t know?”
_____
Since it’s inception, Free Republic has collected articles on issues far and wide that then becomes a repository of information that allows one to look back and see how the narrative of an issue developed over time. A history so to speak.
Major historical events such as 9/11 were documented as they happened and show how stories changed, how media presented events from the beginning to end, and how those events affected the future. One current event that is being documented is the war on Ukraine. Another is the changing narratives on Covid-19 and the vaccines.
It’s great to go back later and be able to research any topic and read as history unfolds.
If this is not something you are interested in, just skip the threads on this subject and read something else. No one will mind or be offended if you skip these threads.
Hey, I have about two dozen dying in my general area, each day.
Since you are doing all the US obits, when can we expect to see them posted?
I don’t know, can you think of any possible reason this could be of interest to anyone?
Think hard on it and see if you can come up with anything. If you just get a big goose egg, let me know and I’ll fill in some of what has been happening these last three years.
She smoked, drank, was obese and never took her BP.
I found out by accident I had High Essential Hypertension, meaning no reasons...I was in great health at the time....in my 30's. Got started on BP meds..and I'm still kicking.
Speaking of local obits do you follow yours? Is everything the same as it has always been or are there far more younger people showing up? I know the answer for my relatively small community... recently there are more deaths of people under 70 than older and for my town that is weird.
That Mr. Covid is a silent killer.
The fact that doctors are being threatened with loss of their licenses if they dare to ask questions about the vax, (see California), along with the massive censorship, of any person raising concerns about the adverse advents that seem to be associated with it, indicates IMO, that a cover up may indeed be going on.
Is it because- Crimes Against Humanity?
🤔
You can’t possibly be covering all of them, so summarize ages and potential causes and post them weekly. That will save you a lot of thread posting that you don’t appear to have time to cover.
Just a helpful suggestion.
For whom the bell tolls, dude.
Especially if you’re vaxxed.
No... one a day is fine.... if it continues to be a concern of mine. If it isn’t a concern of yours feel free to skip my threads on this....
Unfortunately, Fauci kills another one.
One a day isn’t nearly enough death news for us FReepers awaiting your next major death notice of strangers nobody knows.
Do some people drop dead? Sure do but 300+ athletes in a year?. If this was a casino paying out mega slot jackpots all the slots would be pulled and investigated.
Probably political embarrassment more than anything... People have a natural aversion to being ‘in the wrong.’
I actually work in Health Care..and have since late 80's.....And I was in a big Hosp. in SoCal.
Most young people @ that time...were dying of car wrecks, gun shots, OD's, or just plain accidents.
Had some childhood friends,,,die. Two were OD's...One was a hang gliding accident.
Had two cousins die in accidents...One a train..and one a car.
Okay, them why isn’t someone posting those?
Also, why have you been holding these obits back from us?
