It was a pretty bas storm on Saturday, we’ll see if this one is worse, but no need for hysteria.

Hopefully, they will be able to find a Republican to blame for this.

It’s been grey, cloudy and damp for the last couple of weeks around here (Bay Area). We may get one full day of warm and dry weather, then once again, it’s like London Fog, or as the author said ‘we are experiencing an atmospheric river!’.
Everyone’s sittin’ around, waiting for the sun.
This is common winter weather in this region, by the way.
We usually get a Wet Xmas Season. Go to Tahoe if you want snow.

Well, maybe the heavy rains will wash some of the filth from the streets.

If the reservoirs are filled again, will they be emptied for the benefit of the delta smelt, or will the water be more carefully used than it was the last time?

They planted trees that became giant in the beach sand in Golden Gate park, no wonder the trees blow over(entire groves).

Prepper ping - Deadly Storm and a "River of Rainfall" expected in West Coast California; massive flooding anticipated
Get prepared now and plan: life vests, food, water, maps for evacuation, alternate routes, rally points, expect power outages, etc., etc..
Expect an unrelenting training of rainstorms, and possible snowstorms in the highlands
" "To put it simply, this will likely be one of the most impactful systems on a widespread scale that this meteorologist has seen in a long while," the statement read.
"The impacts will include widespread flooding, roads washing out, hillside collapsing, trees down (potentially full groves), widespread power outages, immediate disruption to commerce,
and the worst of all, likely loss of human life.
This is truly a brutal system that we are looking at and needs to be taken seriously."
