Looks like good news.
The important thing is, did he sustain any brain damage?
Commotio cordis (Latin, “agitation of the heart”) is an often lethal disruption of heart rhythm that occurs as a result of a blow to the area directly over the heart (the precordial region) at a critical time during the cycle of a heart beat, producing what is termed an R-on-T phenomenon that leads to the condition. It is a form of ventricular fibrillation (V-Fib), not mechanical damage to the heart muscle or surrounding organs, and not the result of heart disease. The survival rate is 58%, which is an increase in comparison to years 1993–2012, where only 34% victims survived. This increase is likely caused by the prompt CPR, access to defibrillation and higher public awareness of this condition.[1]
Commotio cordis occurs mostly in boys and young men (average age 15), usually during sports, most frequently baseball, often despite a chest protector. It is usually caused by a projectile, but can also be caused by the blow of an elbow or other body part. Being less developed, the thorax of an adolescent is likely more prone to this injury given the circumstances.

Bills’ Damar Hamlin, in critical condition after a hard collision and a sudden collapse.

This appears most likely from what I’ve read.
Clot shot bullshit comments are just that.
Yes, been freep’n for a long time, and I agree, starting to see changes here
The bottom line is that timing is everything. There is a particularly vulnerable period during repolarization (that part of the heart cycle during which the cells electrical potential is being reset and ions are moving between intracellular and extracellular, and intercellular compartments). If you get hit in the chest during this vulnerable period there is a chance you will develop a fatal arrhythmia. It happens.
And on those threads I've also read "heart defect", "heart stopped due to the hit", "spinal injury", "concussion due to helmet", "concussion due to astro turf", etc etc etc. How come you're upset that people are speculating about the vax?
“...everyone is already desperately trying to cover up what actually caused this...”

So, what do you think “actually caused this”?
The condition is called Commotio Cordis and only occurs where there is sufficient pressure to the chest wall during a critical moment of the cardiac cycle. An article states that it occurs in in 10-30 millisecond window of each heart beat.
The doctor on Fox News just explained this condition, and explained clearly how it might have been the cause of Hamlin’s injury.
This isn’t the time or place .
And for the record, I have seen it all, which is why I refused the vaxx.
But again, this is about a man who may die.
Can’t you just wait a day? Please?
The question isn’t necessarily how hard the hit was, but how the force of the hit was distributed throughout the body, was it concentrated in the chest area?
`Calvin Coolidge’s son died from a blow to the chest from a tennis ball...
No. I refused the vaxx. But this is not the time.

Update 7:39pm
This is being called “unprecedented” on ESPN. Hamlin has been intubated and currently listed in critical condition.
One of my nurse friends wrote, “How often has a young healthy football player that didn’t take that hard of a hit had a heart attack or stroke.”
CPR was administered for 9 minutes. Normal is 3 to 5 minutes. After 10 minutes you’re basically dead.
Unfortunately, what this means is that it highly likely he will be brain dead.
According to Dr. Peter McCullough, the injury that Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin sustained is known as commotio cordis (a phenomenon in which a sudden blunt impact to the chest causes sudden death in the absence of cardiac damage).
The time delay from the hit until he collapsed is expected in commotio cordis.
Peter believes that the ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation could have been set up by the vaccine if he took it.
Hamlin was shocked back to rhythm. He now has anoxic encephalopathy. He’s in critical condition at the hospital.
Summary
Hamlin’s injury was not caused by the vaccine, but if he was vaccinated, it may have contributed to the severity of his injury.

Early we watched the Citrus bowl. Purdue WR Deion Burks carted off field with neck injury.
They didn’t know if he’d broken his neck or not.
Game continued.
He got up and was acting normal then his switch was thrown to off. They worked on him an awfully long time before loading him up. I pray that they were able to get and keep oxygen going to his brain.
Yep. Bad enough that it was not just a called foul, but an immediate ejection for throwing his shoulder into the head of a guy being tackled.
I didn’t know this. Thanks for pointing this out. Life is precious and more precarious than we realize.
