Over the course of the last 30 or so years I’ve met Iranians who escaped during the fall of the Shah. A few of them were Ba’hai, Persians, Nowruz, (which has its origins in the Iranian religion of Zoroastrianism), a couple were Marines, None of them were Muslim.
