On Sunday, Elon Musk posted a Twitter poll asking, “Should I step down as head of Twitter?” and promised to “abide by the results” of the poll.
Nearly 17 million users voted, and 58% said yes.
Musk has previously stuck to his word that he’d abide by the results of polls he’s conducted, but the anti-free speech left shouldn’t get too excited that he’ll actually step down as CEO.
In a separate tweet, Musk added, “The question is not finding a CEO, the question is finding a CEO who can keep Twitter alive.”
Then, in response to a tweet suggesting that Musk already has a successor picked out, Musk tweeted, “No one wants the job who can actually keep Twitter alive. There is no successor.”

Does this sound like someone who’s about to step down? It sure doesn’t sound that way to me. The fine print of the poll is that anyone who would take over as CEO of Twitter would need to have the same vision for the platform as Musk does, and that’s a rather significant caveat. I’m sure the radical left was hoping that some dictatorial leftist would be handed the keys to Twitter and reinstate the censorship regime, but it appears that Musk isn’t about to let that happen.

MUSK is making a list, checking it twice,
gonna find out who’s naughty and nice.
This was a ruse to force all the. It owners to respond with their bot armies.
Musk will absolutely step down. He has plenty of big things on his plate. He does not need to be CEO of twatter in order to direct it. He will get someone he trusts to run the day to day, and he will influence the direction in the background while he focuses on his real pursuits
Leftists never pay attention to details. He didn’t say WHEN he would step down when he promised to do it if the vote went that way. Obviously, either way the vote went he will definitely step down some day.
He flushed all the ‘bot accounts out into the open.
Does it really matter if he steps down or not, he owns it so he gets to make the major calls on things like suspending accounts.
PJ Media left out the full facts (not shocked) He said he will step down but retain control of the software and the strong points to keep it from becoming what it was again.
Typical propaganda media at work half truth all agenda.
Exactly!
“I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.”

i sure hope not!
It is likely to get all the bots in one place, now wouldn’t it?
Clever billionaire.
I’m sure Elon is enjoying all the reaction he has provoked since becoming Twitter’s CEO, but I don’t understand him, and I’m thankful that I don’t really need to.
He will step down in the same way Japanese Shoguns stepped down. Hand the nickel and dime stuff to his “successor” while actually running things behind the scenes.
