Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán said the European Union’s massive corruption scandal had presented an opportunity to “drain the swamp” in Brussels.

Viktor Orbán didn’t commit suicide.
Fight-back most everywhere except in the US. Pathetic.
Quixotic, unless the Hungarian secret service finds a way to remove dozens of New Order apparatchiks in a short space of time.
Orban is selling this to morons and corruption is the only thing carrying him.
He built his clientelism state by taking EU money, stealing a large part, and giving the rest to the subcontractors to the German car makers.
This way he gets the political protection of Germany (the most immoral state in Europe) while enjoying a steady flow of cash for himself.
So you think it’s ok for the EU to be a fundamentally corrupt, anti-democratic organization, run by the elites for the sole benefit of the elites?
I think it is a noble pursuit to try to make it work.
That pretty girl who got caught taking money from Qatar is a Greek leftist and I have always been against Greeks having much say, especially when they’re leftists, but otherwise too.
A Greek leftist and an ally to Orban, if you don’t mind me saying.
It’s a difficult task trying to make Europe suck less.
European Union’s massive corruption scandal-— which one???
Trump/Orban 2024
I congratulate you on the parry, blade for blade. Here's a novel notion for all those who demand we pick one of the two sides some offer as if the only two sides to a many-sided problem. Think outside the dualist construct, and towards simple principle. Oppose all corruption in all government everywhere. The only dualist construction then is pro- or anti-corruption. I have seen corruption in Europe first hand, and read all too much about corruption after we returned home -- here. Oppose corruption. Oppose corruption.
