Leftists never let a crisis go to waste. They start with something legit — for example the Russian invasion of Ukraine was a legit disgusting attack. So they use that for cover for corruption.
Covid was a legit reason for concern — for a little bit, anyway — so they use that for corruption and power.
The German people in the 1930s were being totally screwed over by their leaders, France, and threatened by the growing Soviet power. So Leftist by the name of Hitler used the legit concerns for corruption and power.
