Images, especially ones which were shot for a clothing line, are likely copyrighted. You can’t just “borrow” their images for your own commercial use.
If the company that created and sold the NFTs (for profit) used copyrighted images without obtaining a license, there will be litigation. At this point, it's not clear if they acquired the images legally, or what Trump's level of participation is. All we know is that Trump "licensed his image" to the NFT producer. That might be the limit of his participation and liability. Still cringe worthy. If Trump's people created the images, then it's a legal problem.
