Have tried to cancel Paypal several times to no avail. How does one cancel it?

I closed mine by logging into my account and requesting that they close my account and delete all info.

They replied with an email notifying me that they had received my request and were working to complete it. I believe it took them a few weeks before I received another email notifying me that my request had been completed.
