It is not insane, it is beyond the limits of the 4th amendment search. A warrant lists the PARTICULAR place to be searched. If that was done at Mar, that is it. It was not to search every property, vehicle, clothes wardrobe, shoe box and whatever in whatever location in the US that he has.
The “judge” should be brought up on charges.
It was a thorough search; the lawyers visited each of the 18 holes and found no documents.

The OH SO HONEST National Archivist will claim there are still missing documents. This A hole judge will then declare “contempt of court,” obstruction, destruction of evidence, and perjury by both Trump and Trump’s lawyers. Indictment and arrest one and Trump held without bail. Then the fabricated evidence from the “INSURRECTION” will give indictment two. Neither case has any merit and there are no laws that have been broken. But as Biden’s DOJ has shown you don’t need a conviction, or even a trial, to keep someone in jail for years. And once Biden is re-elected with a 50 state landslide, he will graciously have the DOJ drop all charges.

FWIW George Webb has been predicting for months that one particular honey trap-caliber plant, NJ attorney on Trump’s team placed material in Bedminster to be “found” on just such a search.
They don’t have the legal authority to search anyone’s property, and that Federal Judge doesn’t have the legal authority to order any civilian to search anyone’s property.
So... this is my guess...
*The ruling elites know that Trump knows something that will bring down the current Obama/Biden/Bush regime and he told them he knew at Bush 41’s funeral.

*They engineered a coup... with the help of Bill Barr
*The want the evidence more than anything before they indict Trump
*Trump has distributed several copies to trusted sources
*One of those sources betrayed Trump, so they know he has it and has several copies
*Trump keeps a copy on him

Well, then someone was sent in to plant some docs beforehand in an inconspicuous location that wouldn’t be searched. Look for search warrants based on confidential informants saying that secret docs were hidden there.
It would be fitting if Trump got his hands on Obama’s actual birth certificate showing he wasn’t born in the US.
The lawyers attested that they found nothing.
Now when new planted stuff shows up, they will be deemed crooked.
