James Woods @RealJamesWoods To my friends in the Republican Party:

If your patriotism is genuine, not all bluff and bluster, let loose the dogs of war.

Because true patriots will no longer stand to see our rights trampled by the DNC and its slimy cronies in media and the bowels of government. #Twitter

May the “DNC and its slimy cronies in media and the bowels of government” exit posthaste allowing not yon portal to mightily smite them upon their buttocks in their leaving.

“Politics ain’t beanbag.”

And there is a fine old American tradition of dirty tricks in politics.

Mitch is working on a sternly worded letter to somebody or other right now.

I think more massively creative action — like buying Twitter — is needed to fight the Uniparty Deep State.

More outraged talk, stern letters, hearings or even legal action is still running an old playbook.

The old playbook has a lot of assumptions: you know who is on your own team, and all the players love the USA and value the Constitution.

You’ve noted something that concerns me a lot: there is a real age gap between sides here... there are young conservatives out there but not large numbers... even they are often sent off to colleges where they are exposed to leftist propaganda non stop... I wonder how many come out undamaged. This republic will have no future if our children are all turned into little Mao’s at these indoctrination mills...

"Poodles of Indignation"

Worst Heavy Metal band name ever.

Funny as bleep, though!

Thanks

Merely cry “havoc” and inform me which states are in rebellion, and where to report to volunteer my services to them.

Elon is getting his moneys worth in this acquisition.

Implementing first principles thinking on politics. i.e. first ensure our fundamental rights.

James Woods is no slouch intellectually either.

“”Read Unintended Consequences and let that be your guide.””

Oh! my goodness - Have that book and read it many years ago but at an advanced age now, I can barely lift it from the bookshelves - 861 pages. It came out in 1996. I would love to read it again but I wouldn’t be able to hold it lying in bed where I do most of my reading - bad back and no comfortable chair to sit in. I’d have to leave it on the dining room table and read it there. Same with Atlas Shrugged - 1168 pages. I don’t have enough years left to get through them both again. Paperback is my style now; used books purchased at St. Vincent de Paul - read them and recycle them...bring more home.

In my case I constantly refused to mask up. I drove all over the country and had several people require me to wear a mask and I simply refused or left the store.

I was literally standing in the Denver airport which was packed with people and I couldn’t find a single person besides me who wasn’t wearing a mask, yet nobody came up to me and said anything.

When I went to costco, employees constantly had to track me down even when I was in an empty aisle and thanks to their security cameras could tell that I was in there without a mask on and they would have somebody come try to make me put a mask on. I told them to just keep their distance and they would be fine. It’s the reason we ended up with a Sam’s club membership. Although they said they required masks they never enforced it. Not even when we were getting our membership.

For the last 20 years, every year has been more interesting than the one before it. 2023 is going to be a doozy.

UC as a guide….lol. UC has an amazing resale value. It goes for as much $1200 on EBay. Beyond that it’s worthless. Rather than indulge in Civil War fantasies, Conservative should be running for office, teaching or doing something else that is actually productive.

I’d forgotten the Poodles of Indignation…They and the Cats of Conspiracy made quite a team back in the old days. (Old by internet standards, that is.)
