The money does not matter to them the audience does not matter to them
Hmm. a friend asked. Who produced ‘Crazy Rich Asians’.
Let it continue to sink then. Iger is committed to more Grooming storytelling so do it. To think as kid back in the 1960’s Disney was a wholesome company that put out some really good product.
This movie, concept, cast, and budget was most likely approved of when Bob (Here I Come 2 Save the DAY!!) Iger was the big boss.
Disney executives need to keep that in mind as they welcome Iger’s return practically throwing rose petals in front of his path. Iger, in some ways is MORE progressive than the past CEO, who was so abruptly booted off the stage last week.
Maybe BOB is different this time. Maybe this old leopard really can change his spots.
Eventually that could really add up to something!
And once that has been "normalized," the next film would portray in a positive light a "relationship" between a teen boy and the crusty old school custodian.
Because: Why not?!

Boycott Disney
Still wondering if this movie was in reality a money laundering scam...
I am starting to think some corporations are doing this stuff because they are being strong-armed by Government and other Elites.
I also wonder if Disney is somehow going to get a back door Government bailout (of some kind) to mitigate this losses. It would be outrageous if true, but nothing would surprise me.
Meanwhile “The Chosen” (basically a big screen release of the 1st 2 episodes of a TV series about Jesus, the Apostles & other followers) came in either 2nd or 3rd over the first weekend of limited release and is still doing surprisingly well. Have seen very little mention of this movie in the mainstream media.
They have to choose between pursuing political causes and pursuing profits.
