This just proves how stupid our leadership really is, because we could have become allies with Russia very easily. But that alliance is rapidly becoming a non reality due to the belligerence we express towards Russia. So, they are pushing Russia into cooperation with China, even though I honestly believe that Russia distrusts China as much as they distrust us now.

sigh.   The leftists hate and despise Russia for their abolishment of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.   While the neocons vilify the Russians for being communists.   Thinking of what might have been makes you loathe and pity the uni-party socialists and their warped world view.
