“Politicians are for sale, and someone always makes the purchase...But you and I cannot afford it, our democracy is worthless” - Tom MacDonald
...a Canadian rapper with tattoos all over his face - speaking truths.
She sure as hell wasn’t picked for her good looks or political skill.
I remember Nuxhall’s career. Didn’t he play with Ted Kluszewski?
Yep, but he was also few years ahead of Klu.
I think Nuxhall pitched his first game for the Reds in 1944 or 45 at age 15.5.
Signed right out of Hamilton High School to the big club.
Joe Nuxhall
Pitched for Cincinnati Reds at age 15, on June 10, 1944.

America
Wonderful stuff.
For every national politician elected by us voters, there are behind the scenes versions elected by the party members; https://www.gop.com/about-our-party/rnc-members/
Gotta take that over too. Precinct Project(formerly known as Precinct Strategy - as seen on Bannon) is how that’s done.
Local members vote for their leaders who in turn vote for county leaders who in turn vote for state leaders who in turn vote for the state leaders at the national level. Those people from the link above. Voting is every two years. It might take a decade but could be done. Needs to happen in every state because every state is represented as per the link. Those people vote for the national leaders like Ronna ROMNEY.
Then there other orgs and people like the Sclapps. CPAC and other PACs
FIRE HER ASS!
We often identify the GOP, incorrectly, as “the stoopid party.” They are not stoopid, they just hate you and the beliefs you have. The only political party that hates the Republican base more than do the Democrats are the Republicans. I have long said that the GOP is not the permanent, natural home for conservatives. Trouble is, by the time a true home for conservatives is formed, the nation will be lost.
100%
Sadly, I don’t think there is a fix.
Look at the millions spent to elect a politician.
Look at the millions spent on education, yet kids can’t read or add or know anything about history.
Look at the massive corruption in all levels of society.
Look at the move away from faith.
Look at those looking for freebies (Romney’s 47%).
Look at the polarization of the electorate.
Look at the indifference of the electorate.
Look at the silencing of the opposition.
Look how all politicans and the court are ignoring the Constitution.
If there is any chance, it will be through the elections on the local level.
There is some movement in school boards.
Look at Florida. Desantis is using his power as Governor to block Federal overreach.
There is also a possibility of a return to normalcy when the bottom drop out. The problem is where it bounces after it happens. It could easily bring on a dictator.
