The presidential repub primary has already begun behind the scenes for the donor class, consultants and political class. Money and names are being thrown around including DeSantis and Youngkin. McCarthy’s and Paul Ryan’s top two picks to replace Trump. Trump sees and hears these things so he’s in primary mode and we all remember from 2016 what that’s like.

Weigh the good against the bad and you’ll find Trump comes out way ahead on the good side.

America is on the brink of extinction and all these self-righteous b#llsh#ters can do is emphasize Trump’s alleged flaws instead of doing whatever it takes to help Restore America’s Free Constitutional Republic (AKA “MAGA”).

Dang man it feels like, “DOG PILE ON TRUMP!”.

I don’t know why Trump said those things. Maybe he was pissed. Do you, Amber Crawford of 100% Fed Up, ever get pissed and lash out. I’m sure you don’t. I’m sure you’re as pure as the driven snow there Amber Crawford. Easy to point fingers.

Nobody’s perfect. We’ve got a guy who has for six years been under full frontal attack from the Left and many so-called conservatives from day one because he’s trying to do just that: Restore America’s Free Constitutional Republic. He’s taken the Left’s unrelating flame throwers and has no been thwarted. Not just the Left but also a lot of so-called “conservatives”. America first, not personalities first, remember???

Take the good and leave the rest.

“Why folks are so willing to dump on Donald so quickly is very weird to me..”

Those Trump dumpers were never Trumpers.... just part of the Trump haters who were the first to say... they got him this time...RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA. Divide the Trump base and conquer the republican party. and of course all of our national elections and primary election are true and honest.

“… As far as I remember, he only disses folks as a RETORT. That’s his usual m.o.”

To what action or words by DeSantis is Trump retorting? We really need to stop the GRATUITOUS attacks; they’re counterproductive.

Ok. Fair enough. Now where are the wins? Where did trump campaign that resulted from a win? Oops! Rubio is one. Ohio senate another. Deep red states with popular governors. Any others?

The GOP leadership has despised Trump from the start because they know damn well that he’s not a Republican. He’s an unaffiliated independent who hijacked their nomination process in 2016 to win the primaries over their anointed candidate (Yeb) and then — unexpectedly — won the general election, too.

Everything you see going on today should be viewed in this context.

Trump is just channeling his inner Dale Carnegie by making friends and influencing people. (Sarcasm added)

There are more rats, moles, and trolls on FR than ever before. Even some of the old timers here probably still have Cheney and Bolton posters hanging in their showers.

Form what I gather, Trump's response is allegedly based on things that are happening behind the scenes, and are not public. And if they aren't public, the public by definition isn't aware of them, so Trump's "response" naturally looks like him starting fights on his own.

But that's not an excuse. If the provocations are private, then make the responses private. Or if he's mad at what the Post or WSJ are saying, then go after the Post or WSJ. But if he launches those kind of public attacks directly against guys like DeSantis and Youngkin, the blowback from is not only predictable, but well-earned.

It’s from hearing his own words, unfiltered in the past few days.

To what action or words by DeSantis is Trump retorting?

Engaging with the McConnell/McCarthy/Ryan wing of the party in plans to run against him? Endorsing O'Dea after he attacked President Trump?

"I’m done with Trump. He is now just a bloviating blow hard."
Alas, it certainly looks like this is the case. Much like Alex Jones, he's become his own worst enemy.

Youngkin was an investment banker, and allegedly self-financed his campaign.

DeSantis’ biggest backer is hedge fund guy Ken Griffin, who is not a conservative and doesn’t seem to be a Republican. He wrote a $500,000 check to Biden’s 2020 inaugural committee.

Trump jumped the shark when he threw shade on two of our winners. A stupid and unnecessary act. It feeds into everything his critics say about him. It makes him like an ungracious bully, especially to women. I would vote for him over all of them but he has sabotaged his chances with the women vote so he cannot win a national election IMHO.
