Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday his endorsements won Ron DeSantis the Florida governor’s seat. But he said DeSantis, now seen as Trump’s primary rival for the GOP presidential nomination, could have been more gracious.

“He was not going to be able to even be a factor in the race,” Trump said, referring to the GOP gubernatorial primary. “And as soon as I endorsed him, within moments, the race was over,” Trump said. “I got him the nomination. He didn’t get it. I got it, because the minute I made that endorsement, he got it.”

Trump as a 30 point lead he is known so it is not soft...he can’t lose the nomination...all other candidates leads are just people who want to have a choice...but will come around once the comparison is done with Trump

I remember March 2017 when Trump announced Obama/Hillary spied on his campaign. The world thought he was nuts. Trump ended up being right. That is why when Trump says something out of the ordinary my ears perk up and I ask why did Trump say that.

What I meant to say is:
You sensitive snowflakes are all the time talking about Trump’s ego, and DeSantis approves an ad that claims he is the direct work of God.
Now, what would all you Trump-hating snowflakes say about Trump if HE had approved that about himself.

Every published report, including the official list of Trump's invites to his event, have indicated that Trump did not invite DeSantis to the event, by choice of Trump. Local TV reporters in Florida hypothesized that DeSantis could call Trump's bluff, and crash the event, but ultimately reported that DeSantis had chosen to just pursue other options for the evening.
So every indication is that is exactly what happened, and that is at this point considered to be the final explanation of events. However, if you have any other source that claims that is not what happened, you should present it now, as everyone would like to know for sure, but so far 100% of the evidence indicates Trump chose not to invite DeSantis.
What’s bothering a lot of people is Trump’s antics not being helpful at a time when winning an election like this is absolutely crucial. The country is a train wreck and we desperately need to focus on defeating the people who inflicted this mess on us.
In other words, Trump’s attacks at this time are bad form and even worse timing. After all, he has the next two years to unleash all the salvos and he wants to against his party opponents.
Was it too much to expect him to give it a rest for just a couple of days leading up to this election? Some things are more important than Trump’s ego.
Actually, Trump is inadvertently making DeSantis look like the adult in the room.

He barely won with Trump’s help. W/O his help, I think he probably would have lost. The more I see of this guy, the less I trust him.
