Well unless we import tons and tons of coal, his decision also shuts down all of the steel plants in the US as well.
I am assuming coal is still used to make steel.
He announced it on the coast where people like the idea. Biden probably figured pony express wasn’t fast enough to get that news back east before next Tuesday.

It could be a test to see how much pushback they get because they’re planning on a takeover of the entire energy industry when the diesel crisis hits in a couple weeks. it IS their dream and intention, we should realize and the coming crisis provides the opportunity. It will come down during a lame duck session of congress.
