Actually there were ‘instant changes’ at Twitter and the site is already a better place. This dust-up just has to do with the formation of the moderation counsel, which is important going forward.

PS: I agree with you on this post. I think catturd mistook Elon’s tweet as signifying the composition of the council. .. so did I. I believe however it’s good to let Elon know that this would be a bad grouping.

My point is, this guy is irrelevant in the Twitter battle.
Musk has ALREADY REVERSED the ban on some conservative Republican candidates including the Republican Sec of State candidate in Arizona who had been banned by the far left crazies on Twitter before Musk took over.

Hopefully, his council, to the extent that it is actually formed, merely focuses on banning people who engage in speech whose bans by law have been upheld by the US Supreme Court, or constitutes threats, extortion, blackmail, etc. Anything else should be permissible, with the usual options for Twit-Er users to block those who are racist, THOTs, etc.
