To counter the main rotor rotation, some helicopters have 2 main rotors coaxial counter rotating...like the gif below:

Some helicopters have 2 rotors in tandem with two main rotors that are mounted at either end of the helicopter’s body...like the picture below:

Most helicopters have a tail rotor...like the Apache:

About the only way to "capture" a helicopter is by the pilot(s) defecting.

The US never leveled cities in Afghanistan or Serbia, and Mosul was in support of the Iraqi Army against ISIS.

That is true, but even there, we did not target electrical or water supplies to the city. Lots of buildings got demolished, as combatants fired from them - but that made them legal targets of military necessity, same with Mosul. None of the Russian war crime type of shelling and rocketing residential areas randomly, on purpose. Our soldiers and Commanders would go to Leavenworth for that.
