Democratic St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones tried this recently after the personal finance website WalletHub declared her city the most dangerous in the United States.

By reducing the charges on violent offenses, granting cashless bail for violent offenders, letting convicts out of prison early during Covid lockdown, and not pressing charges for certain crimes, they have already been doing that. If you can successfully manipulate the criminal justice system, you can control crime statistics.
Why not? the totally corrupt media otherwise known and the publicity arm of the Democrat party will go along with whatever the Dems say.

Those democrats running for public office who refuse to debate pretend that election don’t exist. When the Democrats cheat so big that they can’t possibly lose, I guess elections don’t exist.
Just like people’s insurance plans weren’t being cancelled and eliminated after Obamacare - deny it was happening.
