PA Senate Debate an UTTER DISASTER for Fetterman
PJ Media ^ | 25 Oct 2022 | Matt Margolis

I watched the entire debate, and I have to admit that I sometimes felt bad for Fetterman. I’m sure he expected to have bounced back from the stroke quicker and stronger than he has, but Tuesday night’s debate performance merely demonstrated just how far he has to go in his recovery. Without a doubt, Pennsylvania voters, and indeed the nation, saw firsthand that he is not capable of being a U.S. senator.

A condition of the debate was the allowance of a closed-captioning system to accommodate Fetterman’s cognitive impairments. The moderators were transparent about the system, but the system couldn’t help Fetterman articulate his positions clearly—at all.

From the beginning, it was clear that this was going to be a rough night for Fetterman, who opened up the debate by announcing, “Hi, goodnight, everybody.”

It got worse from there....

In the end, this was unlike any other debate I’ve ever seen. It was abundantly clear that John Fetterman’s cognitive impairment was an obstacle he couldn’t overcome. Despite the accommodations made for him, it was questionable whether he could comprehend speech, and he clearly couldn’t even speak coherently most of the time. In contrast, Dr. Oz was polished, no doubt benefiting from his years of experience as a television personality, but he was articulate when it came to discussing the issues. I can’t imagine that even Democrat voters who watched that debate felt confident that Fetterman can do the job.

Right from the start, I hate him.

“I’m running to serve Pennsylvania. He’s running to use Pennsylvania. He’s using $20 million of his own money to try to buy that seat.”

Either one of his two accusations could be used against some large portion of candidates. But he is such a dyed-in-the-wool Marxist that he can’t even recognize that the second assertion contradicts the first, rather than supports it!

On the other hand, beneath a significant amount of incoherent nonsense, he may be referencing something which is a good point, and corporatist Republicans dismiss it at their own peril:

“We all have to make sure that everyone that works is able to,” he said. “That’s—that’s the most American bargain, that if you work full time, you should be able to live in dignity as well true. [incoherent nonsense.] You can’t have businesses being subsidized by not paying [more incoherent nonsense.]”

When full-time, adult workers can’t afford to live on their wages, they often qualify for government assistance (albeit usually with the requirement that any children they have are illegitimate). Without government assistance, they couldn’t afford to take those jobs and would resort to more desperate tactics like real, old-fasioned unionism: striking; opposing imported, cheap labor; etc.

Today’s post-national corporations and even many small businesses believe society owes them minimum-wage workers. And to ensure a healthy supply of compliant, minimum-wage workers, government should subsidize their businesses by making up the difference between their wage and the cost of living.

Now, don’t get wrong: Fetterman is a socialist, Satanic freak who only references this for his own selfish gain and the Glory of Uncle Stalin. He supports supplying a continuous stream of foreign workers to function as scabs... and so do today’s anti-worker, pro-statist unions.

This is an honest opinion, Fetterman reminded me of the “monster” in Young Frankenstein. I thought at any minuet he was going to do soft shoe toe Putting on the Ritz.

This is horrible to say, but Fetterman simply LOOKS creepy. I feel for him and his stroke recovery, but somehow I can’t get past his looks. Lefties will still vote for him, no matter what. My hope is that those Independent/Undecideds will be swayed by Fetterman’s horrible debate performance. Dr. Oz is not a perfect candidate, but he’s better than Fetterman.

It’s ONLY a disaster if he loses.

Mental impairment doesn’t seem to be a disqualifying factor for democrat voters, and I would hazard a guess that even with his ongoing issues, he still wouldn’t be the most impaired in congress. In a sane world this guy wouldn’t have a chance, but we don’t live in a sane world.

LOL!
Now that you mention that, I could see that routine breaking out on the stage!

From the opening words out of Fetterman's mouth I kept waiting for the moderators and candidates to stop debating and yell, Live from Harrisburg, Pa., It's Saturday Night!

That's where I stand.

It’s ONLY a disaster if he loses.

You are right but it is catastrophic for the democrats if he wins. Democrats will never be able to convince anyone that voter fraud doesn't decide elections.

Anyone with any humanity had to feel bad for the guy. It was just painful to watch. Oz was actually much better than I expected, having not seen him at all on the political stage. He was pretty good actually.

Everyone knows that 100% of the Fetterman vote is a vote for the Senate Dem leadership, nothing else. No one is voting for this guy, sorry, but that’s a fact. If you’re a Dem believer, I guess maybe you vote for Dem for senate no matter what, BUT you sure aren’t watching this then sayin “Yep, that’s my guy, can’t wait to have HIM represent me”.

Prob Fetterman hurt the entire Dem party for Nov election. Anyone who saw this debate HAS TO be thinking “Oh my God, what are they trying to put over on us”. The press also was fully exposed for defending and hiding him. Anyone who said “he’s communicating just fine” is now a VERY obvious liar.

If it was the house, you would not even have to show up. Just have someone proxy your vote.

In his mental condition, the guy came across as a first grader, and not a very likable one at that

This is true. In this election, all eyes are watching. I think more people doubt our elections now(After watching Joe) than in 2020.

Minimum of 52 seats. NV and AZ pickups.
GA likely pickup.

That poll was frozen last night at 73-27 for Oz with just under 30,000 votes.
Today, there are 60,000 votes and it’s 49-51 for F-man.
I’m expected to believe that although the total number of votes doubled, Oz only received 7500 of the additional 30,000?
This poll is as corrupt as a Pennsylvania election.

Utter disaster, or utterly ignored? We’ll see come election night. Of course, by the day after things may get turned completely around, like in 2020.
