Fetterman’s campaign (and especially his wife) makes it sound like having a stroke is a normal every day occurrence, and that we shouldn’t be concerned with his health going forward.
This is very far from the truth. I’m glad medicine has come so far that he didn’t succumb to the stroke, but he shouldn’t even be running for this office.
I have a good friend who suffered a traumatic brain injury a few years ago. We thought we were going to lose him. It was months before he recovered. He had to learn how to do everything again. He still doesn’t drive. He doesn’t want to put someone else’s life at risk.
Even though he’s not driving a huge piece of machinery, Fetterman is running for a very important job. He owes the people of Pennsylvania a healthy candidate, and he is not. He has a LOT of recovery left to go.
The thing is his Heart Condition which is constantly looked over. He has Cardiomyopathy , and has had since 2017 and from what I have read has done little for treatment. His health is even more precarious than known.
