Striking workers blockading oil refineries in France have disrupted the distribution of gasoline in France this week.
At the European nations conference in Prague President Emmanuel Macron called for things like:
"calm" "responsibility"
trying to discourage a rush by motorists to fill up their tanks.
One in five French service stations having problems providing fuel to customers today.
Late today word that in some parts of France motorists and truckers were being subjected to restrictions on the amount of fuel they could fill up with. (30 liters or 7.93 gallons for cars and 150 liters or 39.63 gallons for trucks)
As motorists faced that short-term energy problem the government laid out plans for energy shortages this coming winter.
Those shortges driven by sanctions on Russia over Ukraine.
Working from home promoted by the government also the setting of thermostats for heat down to 19 Degrees Celsius (66.2 Degrees Fahrenheit).
In all 15 points laid out in the Macron government's plans incuding regular energy forecasts from the government alerting the public to impending energy problems this winter.

If energy problems build in France a new kind of protest movement could rapidly develop with many wearing the Yellow Vests but operating under different conditions with different tactics.
