In this case no one was interested in her paperwork. Which also happens.
And for the rest you could just read the story. It is explained there.
Hertz is grossly overpriced. Only used them when the company was paying.
She didn’t keep going back. All four arrests were form the same bogus incident.
Good point. But it’s still happening under the new CEO.
Had had innocent people arrested.
Great post!
Thanks for the link.

I recently learned the founder of Enterprise, Jack Taylor, was a WWII veteran of service on Enterprise CV-6.
He also funded production of the series Battle 360 about the ship, which you can catch on Youtube. That made me inclined to do business with them.
No hertz is bad at their record keeping, this has been going on for a long time.
ESL ?
Enterprise will charge you for dings and scratches that were there prior to you renting or made up charge after you return the vehicle. They want you to buy their insurance so they tell you about what could happen. I mentioned to a guy at the place when he started that I read about Enterprise making false charges. I did not get charged.
Antwanette Hill used her status as a platinum member of the Hertz Gold Club loyalty program to book and collect a car without checking in with a staff member at Atlanta airport in October 2018, according to the lawsuit filed in July and seen by Insider. She had rented at least 20 times with Hertz before then.As she got in the car, an employee came up to her claiming she was stealing it. Hill told him she was a platinum member and to look for her reservation, but instead he called police who then arrested her.
Hill was arrested three more times between 2019 and 2021 for failure to appear in court over the incident because she was not notified about the court dates, according to the lawsuit, and spent about nine days in jail on each occasion. Her case is still pending; Hertz has declined to dismiss the case.
Hill was pregnant at the time of the fourth arrest in May 2021 and suffered a miscarriage while in jail. She was hospitalized for three days.
Yes, a couple of other posters apprised me of that.
Just DANG!
For a while I was renting from them every other week. They had a large picture of the carrier in the small local rental office.
I saw that later.
That is appalling.
She should own them.
I worked for Hertz at 660 Madison Ave, the world’s corporate offices, and the stories I could tell would stun people.
Hertz having people arrested over rental disputes can only happen when the jack boots are complicit. I will never rent from hertz and I will never “back the blue.”
And why would the police arrest her more than once for the same alleged incident.

Just followin’ orders.
that is why I also get a paper record whenever I rent. Email is a pain to show someone.
