Just one problem with your suggested solution - Germany along with the rest of Europe (and Japan, ect) are totally enmeshed in the ponzi Western financial system which would implode should any of the players balk at keeping it together by any means necessary. The worldwide economic disruption that would result from any of the players breaking away would cause huge hardships for all of the Western democracies and result in political upheavals across the world. It’s the fear of this happening which keeps the West aligned with each other because the alternative is so frightening and destabilizing.
I’m personally satisfied at this point that it wasn’t sabotage, but incompetence.
One theory put out there was that the two explosions were because the contents of the pipeline froze underwater (which is a thing, especially when product isn’t moving through the pipeline like in Nordstream2) and instead of being super careful and patient in clearing the clog, the Russian technicians tried to hurry up and clear the first blockage... then a different team doubled down on stupid and hurried up a second time with the other pipeline, blowing the second line in much the same way.
It could be sabotage, or self sabotage, or a false flag, but given available information, we are really limited in how much we could know. Deliberate sabotage can also look a lot like incompetence. The long and proud tradition of Russian catastrophic industrial and energy sector accidents along with the 17 hours between explosions are what is leading my to this conclusion, which as a random anonymous poster on a political forum who holds no government position thst would matter in the least, is worth just about nothing.
