I agree.
But most of us don’t have tens or hundreds of millions in cash at hand in the bank the way he did to be able to make that sacrifice.

I thank Kyrie Irving for taking a stand on this. So few of us were willing to risk our careers and future income to stop this madness. I perhaps may not like his politics, but I admire the courage of his convictions. Maybe he has a career in politics after his NBA gig is over.

I was “invited to apply” for a very interesting position. It would been a great career step for me. I’d shed the parts of my current job I’d like to stop doing and I’d get more money. The company requires proof of vaccination for employment.
I said no and told my contact why.

Irving did stand up for his principles, but then he can afford to - he's already a multi-millionaire. Expecting working folks living from paycheck to paycheck to throw themselves into unemployment to support a principle is not realistic.
