GOP’s Unifying Midterm Strategy Should Treat Democrats’ Green Agenda As Culture War

As midterm spending intensifies, Republicans should prepare to talk about Democrats’ green agenda as another front in the elite culture war on America’s middle class. Amid the GOP’s struggle to bridge pre-Trump establishment politics with post-Trump populism, Democrats’ class warfare makes that task much easier.

Establishment Republicans who cut ads and cash checks are inclined to talk about dollars and cents, assuming it’s enough to motivate voters in a bad economy. They see this approach as one that is mutually exclusive with the culture war, allowing them to avoid the issues that make cocktail parties uncomfortable while also amassing power in Washington and keeping special interests happy. It’s a win-win!

They’d better come up with something soon. “Let’s go Brandon” isn’t nearly enough.

One thing is for certain... Kevin McCarthy is no Newt Gingrich.

One of the things I like most about the GOP is that they’re never on defense. It’s offense, offense, offense all the time. I mean if this climate change argument didn’t spring up suddenly from out of nowhere, I’m sure GOP’ers would already have a cohesive strategy.

There better be a strategy soon. Even better if these idiots actually implement it before November.

GOP is getting better, especially at the state level, but a long way to go. Nikki Haley campaigning for Oz saying immigrants are more patriotic than Americans. Heh let’s virtue signal, great strategy GOP. So damn stupid.

Is Oz campaigning for Oz? Last month I saw two articles posted within a week about Oz firing back at Democrats attacking him only to find out it was the Oz campaign that was firing back and apparently not Oz himself.

In general they should craft all of the messaging as some derivation of the middle/working class versus the connected class that is stealing their financial future through various schemes (Wokeism, Climate Change, Ukraine, COVID, etc.)
