I'm wondering what the DNC is putting into the Kool-Aid they appear to keep drinking. The publicity is not going to look good in court when it comes time to pick a jury. Demographics of WashDC would cause any self-respecting defense attorney to argue change of venue as it is. Now they can also add tainting the jury pool, regardless of where they hold the trial. We are talking national saturation of the media.

So it well could be that the DoJ knows they muddy their own water. So, why?

Consider: if they indict, that shuts off a lot of innuendo that can blemish Trump to the max. So if the end game is to discredit Trump as much as possible, they stop short of actually bringing the guy to court.
