The Ukrainians do well with the equipment they have. But they should have a few companies of Abrams M1A1s or better. It would not take long to train their experienced tankers in the American tanks. It would take time to train the turret mechanics and the turbine engine mechanics but let them need maintenance first. The Abrams is simply more survivable.
