California Bans Gas Cars: What States ARE Following?
Rumble ^ | Car Coach Reports

Posted on 08/31/2022 9:23:14 AM PDT by Impala64ssa

California passed a measure that would BAN the sale of new gas-fueled vehicles by 2035. What States are Planning to Follow? Automotive industry experts say that the shift needs to be consumer driven. This may backfire on the state of California as other agendas have in the past. If you have additional questions, put them in the comments below and I'll be happy to answer.

We visited the Studebaker Museum in South Bend. Before WW1 Studebaker offered a line of light light and medium duty electric powered trucks. They competed with a few other companies such as Baker Electric and BEV in the UK. They didn't sell that many of them and were discontinued before the war. This was over 100 years ago, but then as now the same problems plague EVs, mainly recharging times and, when looking at the big picture, if anything EVs are more costly in the long run.

Not to mention what should be the obvious, where does the electricity come from in the first place? Doesn't take a PhD in physics to realize TINSTAFL, there's no such thing as a free lunch. And for those who don't get it, BOGICA, bend over here it comes again.

California has been able to “lead” progressive policy and social-engineering for 70 years. Its made their politicians arrogant and stupid

At what point does it blow up in their faces?

Nuevo México is following Commiefornicatia. I say good luck with that. They’ve mostly shut down a perfectly good coal-fired plant in the NW part of the state and are trying to make it up with unicorn farts and rainbows.

Oh, I am sure Oregon is next, except Dems are in a Governor race that may stop them...for awhile.

Apparently, our Californicator Power Company has a limit of EV charging stations on our culdesac and others.

We would have to get on a waiting list to have one installed.

I read as a kid that at one of the first car shows in maybe 1903?, most of the cars were electric and Henry Ford had a loud gas powered car that “scared” show goers.

‘Sale’ of new ICE powered cars. NevaDUH is also on track for this crap. And we just got a heat wave warning from the power company. Set thermostats to 78-80, don’t use appliances that you don’t need to use, blah, blah, blah. How about you provide the power we pay you to deliver. How about that? From NatGas, coal, fuel oil, whatever source. THAT is your job!

Hasn’t Massachusetts also done this? All of the usual suspects seem to be doing it.

Force EVERYONE to buy electric vehicles, THEN worry about the infrastructure to accommodate it.

MAKE NO MISTAKE, this is a GIANT SCAM aimed at RESTRICTING PEOPLE'S MOVEMENTS because charging vehicles will become nearly impossible due to looming electricity shortages. THIS IS WHY THE DEMONRAT POWERBROKERS SHOW NO INTEREST IN ELECTRICITY INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADES NECESSARY TO ACCOMMODATE ELECTRIC VEHICLES!

Drivers will be FORCED to buy electric vehicles (enriching China) THEN WILL BE UNABLE TO DRIVE THEM ANYWHERE WHICH IS ALL PART OF THE PLAN. Gasoline will be IMPOSSIBLE to buy. Production of gasoline will be BANNED and Americans will be HUNG-OUT TO DRY.

It’s going to be a hoot watching Massachusetts EV drivers in the winter. All those cars sitting idle in parking lots while people are at work. I was reading that cold weather grinds down battery charge eventually causing low charge.

Yes, most cars were EVs, gas powered cars needed to be hand cranked, which was inconvenient and dangerous. Hand cranks were quickly phased out when Alfred Sloan put an electric starter on a 1913 Cadillac,
