ha ha ha IF Biden and the powers that be decide to run Biden in 2024 the MSM and dems would cover for him. So there's that. He does have the sunglasses and mask thing going.

I could live with that.

But it all hinges on what President Trump decides.

Maybe. It’s been my experience that when everyone is sure something will happen, it usually doesn’t.

Ok...believe what you will.

And you do the same.

Personally, I tend to take people at their actions, not their words.

Will Trump's second term be different? Will he do all the swamp draining that he said he was going to do during his first term and didn't? Did he learn any lessons?

Perhaps. Maybe it will be different. Then again, maybe it won't.

Meanwhile, I can look at Florida and at a man I also voted for and see actual swamp draining and execution of policy taking place during his first term!

So, I ask, who should I support? The guy who says he's going to do great things the next time despite not doing them the first time when he had the chance or the guy who is actually doing great things?

This isn't to say Trump didn't do great things when he was in office. He gave us great judges and got the economy moving (even if it all crashed to a halt in 2020 after he handed control of the country over to Fauci and Birx).

But his greatest and lasting defeat was picking a fight against the Deep State and losing. And today, the Deep State is more powerful than ever (except in Florida where Gov. DeSantis is solidifying conservative control at every level, from the school boards on up).

I’d love DeSantis as VP as he’d help diffuse the flak and could step in smoothly should age or health get to Donald, yet still allow 2 full terms.

I can’t imagine anything derailing DjT’s attempt to run, but predictions are hard to make, especially about the future.

I also see DeSantis kicking butt in Florida for 4 years, then Trump appoints him to a fill-in role for a year or so (until permanent replacement can be confirmed) and then seriously runs for Prez. in ‘28

I’ll bet you a benjamin today, that Trump fires Wray on day 1 and replaces numerous others shortly thereafter, including accepted resignations of everyone in “Deep State. What a target rich job. Ed., State, Justice, EPA, Health, Military, Homeland

Followed by cabinet level eliminations, agency closures, relocations, reductions.

The people who fought, hindered, sabotaged every Trump initiative will be gone.

A newbie like DeSantis couldn’t get away with it for several years.

Does not matter. The 2020 voting scheme is still there. They will use it

That was just “officially”. He was still living in Texas.

Mike Pence, Bush 1, Kamala. It may be bullshit, but that is something I’ve read somewhere, they want a VP that complements the Presidential candidate to extend the appeal of the team further. I have also seen a number of articles indicating that there is no law against both candidates being from the same state.

"Maybe. It’s been my experience that when everyone is sure something will happen, it usually doesn’t."

Yeah sometimes the crowd can be wrong. Many were sure Biden couldn't possibly stand up and debate Trump for two hours in the last election. Then they said he couldn't last a year in the Presidency and yet he is still there. So you may have a point.

Biden will run or he won't. Depends on which time possibility prevails. I love the one where both Biden and Trump run and Trump pounds Biden into oblivion.

Florida would be better served with DeSantis as governor than cooling his heels as VP.

I believe the entire country would be served better with DeSantis remaining in place as Americas's Governor. He sets the standard that the other states must compete against.

DeSantis, 2028.

Biden was straight up dosed. His eyes looked solid black. Maybe someday we'll know what the cocktail they gave him was.

Disagree. DeSantis is doing just fine in Florida showing the other ‘republican’ governors how it should be done.

It looks like Trump is running. I want all the liberal facists’ heads to explode. DeSantis is young enough, he can run in ‘28, if there is a country left.

There is serious election fraud in his state he should link with local activists uncovering this…. Then we can see he is the real deal
