The WEF is like a slicker marketing and/or networking arm of the UN. The WEF has Davos where 1,000 private jets descend upon every year so they can plan what their future will be and plan what OUR future will be and they are two quite different futures. The plan for them is to meld with tech, live indefinitely and travel the stars. To do that, they need a lot of resources. In fact, they need all the resources. Us little people are going to have to live like bugs in a terrarium while eating bugs. If you listen to them talking about editing the human genome to try and improve it, it's a little scary, not to mention an affront to God. They think they can do better.
They want to redesign plants, animals and humans to make better versions. What could go wrong?
