Psst. It's already happening. How else do you suppose hundreds of products made from crickets suddenly exist? It was planned and implemented long before we started talking about it so your statement or worry about us 'talking ourselves into" something doesn't work.
USDA organic doesn't happen overnight with a new food like cricket powder for human consumption.
Fact is, the globalists, UN/WEF etc talked about it, then the MSM started writing articles about it to get people talking about it and then boom, products are for sale in Canada, US, UK and more and have certifications like organic, GMO free etc. That doesn't happen overnight. That means when we first started talking about it, production processes had already been worked out, crickets had already been being farmed, logos designed, facilities built, packaging and distribution lined up.
It seems you have the process a little backwards. By the time we start talking about it, it's well underway and will happen. You don't have to eat bugs. Maybe some day when/if it's the only protein available or affordable to you, you may decide you need the protein to stay healthy and you'll eat zee bugs. Same with me.
And that is what has so many of us concerned to the point of maybe seeming a bit frantic. We realize we have almost zero control over our future and that the future ain't lookin' so bright and in fact is looking as though it may be some dystopian nightmare.
Good post.
