Who, really, is in charge at the White House? It sure doesn’t look to be President Biden.

The latest evidence came last week when chief of staff Ron Klain delivered a behind-the-scenes message to Democratic allies and staff, just hours after Biden’s disastrous news conference: The prez had failed to mention that his next Build Back Better bill would fund child and elder care, but Klain insisted it would.

As Axios reported, “Klain’s private comments are yet another indication the White House has a core set of priorities it plans to fight for” … even if the president doesn’t know about it fully yet.

If fairness, it is difficult to tell because the article is so poorly written. Stream of consciousness from a crappy writer. So, we get both this:

But also this:

There are actually three women inside Joe’s admin who are working together to operate this show for Obama, and we identify who they are. Obama nicknamed them “The Furies.”

By my count, that's actually nine people. But more importantly, there isn't a shred of backup provided for any of this other than one mention of an incident with Klain. No specific stories, examples...nothing. All the author says is that she reached this conclusion after an undefined "recent investigation", and that we should "believe me on this."

Garbage blog posts are wrecking this place.

No, she says it's "Susan Rice: Biden’s domestic policy advisor, Avril Haines: Biden’s DNI, Lisa Monaco: Biden’s Deputy AG." No evidence, but it's possible. I'm thinking 1) Susan Rice isn't necessarily handling domestic policy all by herself, and one can't discount the influence of Pelosi and Schumer, 2) Ron Klain may be more of a figurehead than he would admit, and 3) they were all in high-level positions for eight years under Obama, and at this point they are probably able to mess things up on their own without getting any instructions from him. For all we know, they may have been running things when he was in charge too.

Again, reread it. She clearly identifies two different groups of people as being completely in charge. It's an absolute mess of an article.

At least the first group makes some sense - Klain, Pelosi, Schumer, Presey, Tlaib, Omar, and AOC. Klain is Chief of Staff, Pelosi is Speaker, Schumer is majority leader, and the other four are influential elected progressives.

The second group is just a collection of influential foreign policy women from Obama's Administration that the author just asserts - with zero evidence - are in charge of the Biden Administration, which of course overlooks the fact that she had just claimed those others are.

It's a mess.
