China’s H-20 Bomber: A Mix Of The B-2 And B-21 Raider Stealth Bombers?

The H-20 Stealth Bomber: An Ominous Sign of Chinese Airpower Projection? – As if it weren’t bad enough that the People’s Republic of China (PRC) continues to make strides with its 5th Generation Chengdu J-20 stealth fighter – and flaunts that J-20 via intimidation exercises against Taiwan — the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) is evidently also making strides in the arena of next-generation strategic stealth bombers. So then, what exactly do we know about China’s prospective H-20 bomber?

When I was sick with cancer, I did a lot reading on the rise of China's military and it seem Red China stole a lot of our tech. I think the H-20 is basically a stolen B-2. What yawl think?

“it seem Red China stole a lot of our tech. “

We gave them a lot of it so they could become a rival.

How much of this is a FUD (Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt) gambit against us here in the US? From what I read, this hoorah is based on an unverified report in a China domestic newspaper.

Just the other day I read how the new "Maverick" / Tom Cruise movie has caused jitters in China over the aircraft depicted. So is this anything different, especially with the noises that the PRC is making about Taiwan?

Yes, the Chinese are notorious intellectual property thieves. But as dljordan points out, we gave / sold some of our best tech to the commies. Remember the Clintons sold top secret goodies to their generous Chinese donors. The Chinese by their very nature simply aren’t terribly innovative, so they prefer to steal intellectual property from others. They even have people in the U.S. Patent Office reviewing every newly-filed patent, looking for ideas they can steal. And no doubt you’ve noticed how, if you search Amazon for something, you’ll get dozens of identical items, all offered by different sellers, all manufactured in China, and all cheap duplicates of the original item developed in the West.

Let’s not forget that the origin item developed in the West was like given to China for production. Many of those production contracts allow for knock-off items to be produced and sold in China.

Our own corporate leaders are also seeking to destroy us and give everything to China.

There is plenty of blame to go around.

As long as the greedy members of Congre$$ and the cesspools of disinformation formerly known at institutes of higher learning are given free rein the Chinese will continue to rape our technology.

Communist China has been churning out 10X as many qualified, trained engineers in every field as the USA for many years now.

They will copy and in many cases exceed our tech going forward.

This is what the “MuRriCA!” morons on this board fail to understand. China and Russia have our number, their people are smarter, and their leaders are 10 times smarter and have corrupted our moronic leaders. How do we win against this? Sneak Peak: We DON’T. Get ready.

Ok 19FortyFive, show me photos of an actual in-service bomber and supporting elements that is integrated into the PLAAF. Until then, this is fear porn for ignorant people.

How many J-20s are in existence, other than the propaganda planes running Russian engines? They trot those few out in the Taiwan Strait for photo ops that scare the US press.

Hell, there are fewer than 15 Soviet SU-57s in existence compared to how many F-22s and F-35s?

Shiny prototypes with ZERO combat experience are just that - shiny toys.

Partner, you are so correct.

Stole technology. Someone in this government could be Miss Hillary and a lot more like her let the Chicoms copy this technology.

Why are the B-52, tanks, naval carriers look very much like the American type military.

Is this just a coincidence???

Why do we even need a stealth bomber? What good are nuclear bombs 6-12 hours after initial attacks?

More like 100x as many engineers and for over the past 15 years.

Their engineers also have a far better education. Far better. I compared notes with many of them that worked for me from Wuhan, China. All of them had a far tougher curriculum than found in US colleges. The ones that had an American or Canadian PhD in engineering also found the PhD programs “easy” since they had such a solid bachelors curriculum.

China is way past being just a bunch of dirty peasants. They are not as communist as anyone thinks, either. All Chinese that I met, who were not CCP politicos, were entrepreneurs, motivated, fun loving, and happy people. China has over 600 million people that live as good or better than we do. Do not underestimate them in any way as they have diehard communist leaders that want to crush the USA and an educated populace that can do it; they don’t want to, but they can be made to do it.

In 2005, Noshir Gowadia, a Northrop Grumman design engineer who had aided in developing the B-2’s propulsion system, was arrested and charged with selling the bomber program’s trade secrets to the Beijing’s espionage goons. In January 2011, Gowadia was finally convicted and sentenced to 32 years in prison for his violation of the Arms Export Control Act. But, of course, the damage had already been done.
