I thought “no one is above the law” !
surely its a crime to aid someone to illegally enter the country as well as the illegality of invading to begin with!

Since when?
The only "false perception" is that Magnus is maintaining border security. How else does he explain that an estimated 2 million illegals have entered in the last year?
