You’re right. Having them pontificate from the stage when people wish they would “shut up and sing” or seeing them on a TV panel agreeing with Whoopi is difficult.
But a FReeper at least a decade ago (sorry, name forgotten) posted a meme here and said if we follow strict rules for entertainment and politics, all we could listen to was this LP album.
(It was Charlton Heston Reads the Bible).
I was startled at a local used record store to look ahead and see that very album cover on display there.
But I agree to boycott spending as much as possible. Biden era inflation helps me follow that.
