If the FBI was in Trump’s house examining the documents they were discussing, it is possible one of those agents is the informant. A law enforcement official is automatically considered a reliable informant. The FBI wanted to get into the residence to look for evidence to support the J6 investigation, but used the document dispute to get their foot in the door.

Trump didn’t pack his belongings when he left the White House. The GSA did that for him, as they do for every president.
I doubt if ANY of those documents were classified.
The sitting president can de-classify any document he wants.
And why didn’t the feds take the documents when they visited Mar-A-Lago in June?

The boxes was just the pretext so they could get in. They couldn’t very well sneak in with all those security cameras running.
Ask yourself this: if Nixon was trying to search Mar-a-Lago, how might he have done it? This seems like a pretty good strategy, possibly the only viable one.

The question I have is why didn't they get those boxes the last time they were there two months ago.
And for what it's worth, I doubt Trump knows what's in those boxes since it would have been his staffers that cleared out his office at the white house and shipped them to Mar A Lago

He said he didn’t know there’s a safe at Mar-A-Lago. Right. A multi-billionaire would keep important papers and millions of dollars worth of diamond jewelry in an old cigar box.
Not until we get our hands on the agent(s) affidavit for the warrant will we start to understand what’s going on. Of course, even the warrant may just be a subterfuge for agents trying to get their hands on information that incriminates or embarrasses the FBI. In other words, it could be an attempt to find out or cover FBI shinanigans for past crimes committed. Whatever, it screams out sheer desperation. They’re afraid of what Trump knows or has on them. A real cat and mouse game is playing out. When you are as crooked as the FBI you are bound to be very paranoid.
