Vanity: Judge Who Signed Trump Warrant Previously Recused from Trump v. Clinton Case
VANITY

For the reporters on here:

ORDER OF RECUSAL. Magistrate Judge Bruce E. Reinhart recused. Case reassigned to Magistrate Judge William Matthewman for all further proceedings. Signed by Magistrate Judge Bruce E. Reinhart on 6/22/2022. See attached document for full details. (jmd)

Trump v. Clinton et al

Case: 2:2022cv14102

https://dockets.justia.com/docket/florida/flsdce/2:2022cv14102/610157

Why does one recuse oneself as a judge on a case? The filing (on 4chan) mentions this statute:

28 U.S. Code § 455 - Disqualification of justice, judge, or magistrate judge

(a) Any justice, judge, or magistrate judge of the United States shall disqualify himself in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned. (b) He shall also disqualify himself in the following circumstances:

The actual filing is linked here. (Not sure how to repost)

From the new information tonight, it would appear Reinhart is the first Magistrate Judge to authorize a panty raid.

Per NY POST: They asked the security cameras be turned off but Trump’s people refused.

Why did the magistrate recuse himself for a conflict previously but ‘sign off’ and seal the warrant this time?

Apparently, he wrote negative Tweets about Trump in 2017.

He’s NOT a judge. He is a Federal Magistrate. He was not appointed or confirmed by the senate. He is an employee of the court. A paid lackey.

That exclusionary doctrine has not been favored by courts in recent years, but assuming that anything was found, that argument will be made certainly.

He was listed as a judge on this docket. Was he not a judge then? This is the one he recused himself from?

He is a Magistrate. He is a hired judge and can be fired. He’s like a paid pro-tem judge. He should not have been the person to sign off on a warrant to search the president of the United States. They chose him because they knew he’d sign off on a defective warrant. The FBI probably either had dirt on him or knew he was a certified Trump hater.

Previously involved with Epstein. If the FBI needed it they sure had dirt on him, but I am sure he was willing and eager.

He is a magistrate judge who was appointed by the US District Court Judges. Magistrate judges routinely sign off on search warrants.

Trump's name may not have been on search warrant itself. It is captioned, "United States v. Sealed Search Warrant (9:22-mj-08332)".

Another question is who keeps assigning this magistrate to cases involving Trump, even after he's recused himself? A corrupt court administrator can and does assign the "right" judge for a particular case to get the desired result.

The judge (magistrate) reads the entire thing and signs to put it under seal. He read it.

They’re hiding the ball from the public. They wanted the door open and then grabbed 15 boxes. Can put in what they need to and justify “finding it” using the warrant.

The magistrate recused himself from Trump v Clinton because he had a conflict. He either supported Clinton or though the comments he made publicly (see Posobiec who posted the social media comments from the magistrate) disqualified him.

But now in this far more serious situation they needed a loyalist and went to this guy. He complied.

This guy also made posts on social media disparaging Trump. He needed to recuse himself, again, but didn't.

Is there any doubt that the FBI went “judge shopping” to get the signature they wanted?

Sometimes these magistrate judges are apparently the equivalent of being ‘on call’ at certain times or dates. Hold on to a shady warrant request until the most amenable hack is on duty and it looks less like judge shopping.

Something like this would certainly seem to have demanded an actual federal district judge to sign.
